Greenpeace launched the Detox campaign for a toxic free world some weeks ago, inviting companies not to use chemicals in their production processes.
31 companies accepted the challenge and then, last week also Lampo, the famous brand by Ditta Giovanni Lanfranchi - one of the most successful Made in Italy zips producer, announced that they will deal with all their production steps without using toxic elements.
The challenge is very interesting: the textile sector uses chemicals very often and removing them is difficult, but workable. Not using them in the metal treatments is really as challenging as virtuos.
