Its name is guayule and it a plant which will change tyres production. Bridgestone, one of the leading company in this sector, is cultivating guayule in its Biorubber Process Research Center (BPRC) in Arizona for research and study purposes to use it instead of oil products.

By 2050 the Japanese company is committed to use only natural blends to produce its tyres as Apollo Vredestein and Cooper Tire & Rubber already are trying to do. Natural rubber will replace the traditional one, flgging another goal of what is becoming, and we are very happy about this, a real green revolution.
