As you may know, many have been successful to realize their dream persuading and involving people from all over the world, ready to support them. Among these there is also a start up from Brescia (Italy), Me Group, which in just 90 days has managed to collect 300,000 euro with a campaign of equity crowdfunding on Tip Ventures, to bring to market their green transport created by themselves: an electric scooter.
The scooter is called ME, it has been supported by ten investors, including a major industrial partner, and has earned the nickname of outsmarting Vespa, directly from the BBC. The platform Tip Ventures supports startups in organizing meetings with investors, facilitating the research of the correct target and promoting the final contact. Focusing on typical features of Made in Italy, as product innovation, accurate design, and recalling sweet memories of the famous Vespa, ME has collected great interest from different countries of the world, including Canada and the United States. Made in Italy has proved a strong lever in the launch of this campaign and an asset that should be used with greater awareness by Italian entrepreneurs.
