MiColtivo: Milan, vegetables and children

If you think that the new generation is dull, you are probably wrong. A clue is not an evidence but sometimes children do really better than adults.

It happens in Milan (Italy) where a couple of years ago Fondazione Riccardo Catella launched the MiColtivo. Orto a Scuola project, following children’s requests.

This initiative comes from a bigger campaign called ‘I Progetti della Gente’ which aims to requalify public spaces to enhance life quality as well as socialization. MiColtivo is dedicated to children and wants to encourage healthy nutrition through the cultivation of vegetable gardens in the school courtyards.
