The ingredients of success for a truly green product launch! Discover the example of Dr. Schär

Dr. Schär, the market leader in gluten-free products, was looking for an original idea to launch their new Bio product line.

The aim was to celebrate nature and create a bond with their consumers.
They came to us and decided to plant 200 trees, building a communication campaign with nature as the protagonist.

Using small games to discover the genuine ingredients of the new products, with Treedom trees up for grabs as prizes for the most passionate competitors, Dr. Schär was able to build a very successful launch campaign by playing on environmental values.

And it worked great! The community enthusiastically welcomed the new products, and for the 200 trees planted by Treedom, more than 11,000 "adoption" applications were received.

A social contest to win Treedom trees

The interactive games published on Instagram and Facebook rewarded the first 30 competitors with a Treedom tree of their very own. Although each publication focused on a specific theme (ingredients, nutritional properties or product varieties) they all had in common a love of nature and healthy eating.

A single strategy for four different objectives: introducing new products, telling about the collaboration with Treedom, creating expectations, and increasing interaction with the posts.

Let's take a look at the numbers:

The social profiles were flooded with comments, not only from those who wanted to "win" the trees, but also with many messages of support for the green initiative. By planting trees with Treedom, Dr Schär has become a symbol of values with which their consumers can identify, thus strengthening its reputation as a positive and green brand.

Treedom trees have also been given as gifts to journalists of publications in the sector, such as Laura Forti of Cucina Italiana and Cristiana Cassé of Sale&Pepe, as well as to bloggers and gluten-free food influencers, including Valentina Leporati, Elena d'Alessandro, Eleonora Mariella and Giulia Ferraiuolo.

By adding the code to redeem the tree directly in the Press Kit, Dr Schär surprised their contacts with a unique and original feature.
