During the high point of the year dedicated to sales, Sweden bucks the trend and launches the fashion that you do not need to buy with the slogan "Shopping? No, sharing it’s better!
"Launched world wide only a few days ago by VisitSweden, the official Swedish Agency for tourism that promotes the brand Sweden abroad, the initiative it’s called Sharewear and cares about the issue of sustainability in the fashion industry. Yes, because, in the world, each year, we throw a million tons of clothing. So, instead of throwing... why not just to give them to someone else?
The collection Sharewear is the result of collaboration between the most prominent Swedish designers, who wanted to make the ready-to-share the new ready-to-wear. How? The ShareWear collection will be charged on Instagram and the first user to comment on the photo of an item will have the right to borrow it for a week. At the end of the week, the user will load the picture again on Instagram to share it again, and the first to leave a comment will get the clothes in lending in the coming week. Anyone can participate and to track the clothes will be used the hashtag #sharewear.
Hats off to have been able to exploit the social champion in visual marketing promoting a more sustainable fashionable style offering a viable solution. What are you waiting for? Hurry up to see their Instagram profile and chase the share!
