Let’s see how and why Deltatre, in order to take care of its people, inaugurates this year the third consecutive year of collaboration with Treedom.
Mélanie (Bastian, Group Head of Office Management at Deltatre Group), Deltatre is now in its third year of collaboration with Treedom. Can you tell us how the project started and how it has evolved over time?
We bring sport and entertainment to life - and we’ve been doing so since the birth of the internet. Working within these industries means that we are always looking ahead, and that’s why it couldn’t be more important to us as a company to support environmental and social initiatives, including sustainability. We're working with our global community so that together, we can do as much as possible to make the world a better, greener place with a more sustainable future.
You decided to give trees to Deltatre employees, to celebrate which occasions? How did they welcome the initiative?
Together with Treedom, we have planted more than 3,260 trees in Tanzania, Cameroon and Madagascar. We gift a tree to each of our employees every year on the anniversary of when they joined Deltatre, as a thank you for their commitment to Deltatre and their hard work over the past year. It’s a long-lasting gift with a positive impact on our environment, and grows alongside them as they navigate their career at Deltatre.

How did this initiative fit into your more global sustainability strategy?
Deltatre recognizes that it has a responsibility to the environment that extends beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods. We encourage our team, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to do the same. We endeavor to continually improve and reduce our environmental impact, continually improving and monitoring our environmental performance, and incorporating environmental factors into business decisions as well as continued employee awareness and training.
