When it comes to climate change, we all have more questions than answers. So it's best that the answers come from the experts in the field.

Treedom opens its first cycle of webinars with a live session created by you and for you. To try to clear your doubts, and above all help you cultivate a little stubborn optimism.

The video is subtitled and divided into chapters, so you can jump to the ones you are the most interested in. These are the questions we put to the experts, so let's leave it to them.

  • What does sustainable mean?
  • What about the Sustainable Development Goals? Are they just another form of "blah-blah-blah"?
  • What is the role of reforestation in the fight against climate change?
  • Can developed countries support developing countries to boost their economies - while also protecting their environment?
  • How can children like me make a positive impact on the environment?
  • How can we become more resilient also in cities and towns?
  • Any suggestions for people to deal with their climate anxiety?

PATRICK WORMS

Patrick Worms, a Cambridge-educated molecular geneticist, represents CIFOR-ICRAF, the Centre for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry, to policy makers, donors and corporate partners in Europe and beyond. Patrick’s interests sit at the nexus of land restoration and human security.

REBECCA FREITAG

It all started with a bike. When Rebecca was living in Berlin, she found that the cycling infrastructure wasn’t good enough to encourage people to ride a bike instead of driving. So she co-founded the initiative “FahrradBande“, and supported the Berlin Cycling Referendum, which in record-time became the Berlin Cycling Law.
