Feeling climate change anxiety? 5 ways to act now

We've had enough of heatwaves, droughts and natural disasters, this summer, so have rounded up five great ways you can take action against climate change, starting today!

Scientists tell us: growing trees has "incredible "* potential in the fight against the climate crisis, so we at Treedom are focusing our efforts on this mission. But there are many other ways in which each of us, every day, everywhere, can choose to act.

1. Walk or cycle instead of driving

It costs less, doesn't pollute, you don't have to worry about finding parking, and you save on gym memberships. If distances allow, why not choose to leave your car keys at home?

2. Plant a tree and help green the planet

f you are here, it means you already know what incredible benefits trees are capable of bringing not only to the planet, but also to people. What's more, a tree also makes an original gift for someone you love.

3. Eat less meat to reduce greenhouse gases

Deciding to eat one less steak, and maybe buying it from a local producer when we do, can really make a difference. It only takes a little time for an action to become a habit.

4. Support sustainable businesses

Let's not forget: all of us, as consumers, have great power in directing the choices of companies. And we already have! Let's support companies that reduce their impact on the environment, and continue to demand the change we need from them as well.

5. Put pressure on politicians to take real climate action

Whether we like it or not, it is our political leaders who have the power to implement structural changes, through legislation, campaigns, funding and international cooperation. Electing representatives who are up to this challenge is crucial, and every vote counts. Yours too.

Visit our website and plant a tree today, with just one click. Let's fight climate change and green the planet, together.
